The Little Chef

Breaking in her new EZ Bake Oven...

making red velvet cakes...

Everyone enjoyed the tiny treats.

Grace was very proud of her hard work.

Therapy - Session 2

Just found more puppy pictures.....

I am sure there will be a new crop or two of these guys to love on this spring.

We're ready for them!

Fingers

This is not a manicure gone really wrong.

Instead it is my son modeling the latest prize from Friday afternoon treasure chest at school.

I like this look much better.

Anatomy Lesson

This poor skeleton gets a workout each year during Halloween.

The kids delight in rearranging the poor guy almost daily.

They don't know their bone song though....
you know....

The leg bone's connected to the arm bone.
The arm bone's connected to the  hip bone.
The hip bone's connected to the shoulder bone.

They kind of don't care what 'ought to' go where.

I guess that is what makes it so fun.

Hangin' Around

If you think this picture looks odd, you are right.

It is actually this picture upside down.

The farm closet is our new favorite place to do gymnastics.

With a mattress of the floor of the walk-in closet and a nice sturdy rod to hang from,
it is a kid's dream come true for flipping and flopping.

Don't they look like they're having fun?

Beef

It's what's for dinner!!

The kids are getting a real life lesson in the food chain.

They have watched the cows grow all year and have now seen them hauled off to be processed.

And NOW
I am watching it disappear from their plates.

We did something right because
they seem unaffected by the knowledge that they're eating our own cows.

I guess we are an official business now.
Todd Shupe is our new marketing director.
He had these shirts made for each of us for Christmas.
Pretty awesome.

The smaller the stack, the older the child....

Grant has the biggest pile of gifts by far.

Making them do the work....

Decorating for Santa

Setting out Santa's snack on Christmas Eve night...

What would Christmas be without a gum pooping reindeer in a little boy's stocking?

Ken Doll and Kindle

A little alcohol from Santa

Baby C survived her first Christmas.
