Week Two Pictures

 Mesa Verde National Park

Arches National Park

One of our favorite parks was Zion National Park.  Beautiful.  We were there until past dark playing in a river running through a slot canyon.

fun in the campground in cedar city, utah

Visited Hoover Dam while staying in Las Vegas

sunrise over mountains behind campground

Zion Park....i know these are all out of order....hurting for an internet connection...trying just to upload pictures while i have a tiny bit of a signal today sitting in the laundromat doing a week's worth of laundry!!

Grand Canyon sunrise Thursday morning...woke kids up and were on the road at 4:30 to head to the canyon.

Hoover Dam

Nature put on a show with flowers too.  They were such a sweet contrast to the massiveness of the canyon.

As we left the trail, Grant pointed out the clouds looked like Jesus.  I agree.

Sweet Sixteen!!

Happy birthday to our two favorite sixteen year old children.

I can't believe you are officially sixteen.

We love you.

Someday you will forgive us for always dragging you on a family camping trip on your birthday. Hope you remember these days as fun times together.

Vegas!!!

Left cedar city this morning. Hit Hoover Dam and enjoyed the sights there before back tracking to Vegas.

Grace and Grant enjoyed the pool to counter the 106 degree heat.

Then off to enjoy dinner at Gilley's on the Begas strip. After seein the sights we are off to the camper to COOL OFF!

Goodnight!

On the road again

Moab was a bit sparse on vegetation. This has been by far the most barren location we have visited so far.

A couple miles down the road we visited Arches National Park.

We did some hiking and saw some beautiful arches.

Today was another move to the west side of Utah. We have relaxed at the pool. Grilled out for dinner. Napped. Caught up on laundry. Shopped.

Tomorrow we head to Zion Park and Bryce Canyon. I think we are rested and ready to go again.

Camping Life

Up early. Warming up on the floor vent.

Dining can be cozy with six of us.

The view outside our window this morning.

On the road again.

One of our many stops. This was Pueblo, Colorado.

Durango campground. Moving on to Moab, Utah, today.

Having a little fun along the way.

Played way too much mini golf in Colorado Springs while David and John toured the Air Force Academy. We didn't go with them since they were meeting with someone who works at the academy. The fewer Shupes the better at times like that.

We had a lot of fun golfing.

We then took a break for lunch and cooled off.

Grant got a new hair style with the help of Emily.

Headed for a new adventure.

Royal Gorge Bridge Thursday
