So

How was YOUR weekend?

I found this note on Meg's collar this morning.

I wish this was the worst part of the weekend.

It wasn't.

I thought this weekend would never end. I also never thought I would be excited for Monday morning.

Hope your weekend was good....or at least better than Meg's and mine!

Goodnight!

Thank You

We had a great weekend.

Love You!

Grant

We took Grant in this morning for surgery to remove the nevus in his ear. He was a bit nervous, but playing video games helped keep him distracted from what was happening.

7:30 this morning

Two hour after being wheeled into surgery, he was back in recovery ready to go home... But not before he had lunch.

And what does a seven year old want for lunch right after surgery?  Pizza from the Target cafe. Of course.

By 11:30 he was back to video games at home.

Kids are so resilient.

You can see the dressing in his ear. We go back in a week to have it removed and check the skin graft.

I'm glad this was such a simple procedure. He has done well and can go back to school tomorrow is he wants to.

Happy Thursday!

Googly Fun

Meet Gulliver.  He's the one with bunny ears.
Grant had to create a puppet that looked like the main character of his favorite story. We have been reading Gulliver's Travels lately at bedtime so of course his puppet is Lemuel Gulliver.

Betcha knew that already though because he did such an awesome job on his puppet.

Grant was loving the googly eyes we used to make the puppet.

I maybe finished gluing things because he was having way too much fun to be bothered.

Yep.

Those are googly eyes all over his face.

Yep.

He asked me to take pictures.
I see senior yearbook material!
