Love is in the air

David took these pictures of Sheriff Grant and Cowgirl Grace the other day.  Grant is sizing up the situation before he........

plants a big one right on the lips.

Grace's response to this???

Kiss him back, of course.

Now these two.......it might have been a different story!  I don't see any kissing going on in their futures, especially involving one another!

Are YOU ready for Valentines Day?

No Kidding

Do beer and donuts make a nutritious snack?

Did I mention the snack was for my "mean dogs"?

No kidding.  They picked a beer bottle and a donut as chew toys for the dog the other day.

No kidding.  They have chewed on the new dog toys more than the real dog has.

No kidding.  They have played "mean dog" until I'm literally ready to lock them in their own kennels.

No kidding.  They are starting to worry me a bit.

No kidding.  I WISH I were kidding.

My kids fell in love with this tonight.

Where oh where is this kind of comedy today?  Where is that innocence?

Good memories....

Fun at the Farm

We've been gone.....as if you hadn't noticed!

Guess where we have been!

Sledding at the farm.........see David's feet point UP?  He had Grace on his lap spinning out of control down the hill.

The  view from the opposite side.  I never got brave enough to sled down with camera in hand to get a shot UP the hill.

Back at the house, but still having fun in the snow.

John decided to help shovel the driveway.

snowman fun......

Grace would prefer to eat the snow instead of build with it.

This was my favorite from the day....

Pictures from around the farm.....

The old farmhouse back in the field.

That's a wheel leaned up against the stone fence.

Remnants of a loading chute for cattle.

More of the stone fence.  There is a lot of it scattered around the farm.  All that remains of when it used to be divided into various parcels of land.

One more.
