Observations

I am happy to report that I am no longer compelled to look over my shoulder while slumming around in my stay-at-home-mom-why-bother-to-put-on-anything-nicer clothes.  The popular show What Not To Wear on TLC has aired their final episode.  If you aren't familiar with the show, the premise is that during each episode Stacy and Clinton as hosts of the show stage an intervention for a fashion challenged unsuspecting soul.  I always had this tiny fear that they were going to pop out from behind a shelf at Kroger at any moment and point out my glaring failures according to the fashion world.

I will sleep better now knowing they are not coming to get me!

Hangman is a game intended to be played by those proficient at spelling.  Playing with a first grader who is a beginning speller at best leaves me at a great disadvantage.  The other day while playing a game of hangman with Grant I noticed his eight letter word had no vowels.

P - R -Y - N - C - P - L - L

I got it when he filled in the blanks (after hanging me of course).  But I had no idea what it was when I had asked for all of the vowels and it still looked like this...

P - R - __ - N - __ - P - __ - __

I think my son needs spell check when playing hangman.

For the record, I have now attended a Willie Nelson concert and lived to tell about it.  My loving husband took me to see Willie in concert.  Interesting to say the least.  Probably not someone I would have picked to go see...

EVER

but an enjoyable evening with the husband just the same.  Guess it's my turn to pick a concert to attend.

Maybe Donny and Marie will be in town performing soon.

Happy Tuesday!!!
