Putt Putt on the Peninsula

Have you noticed I have still not posted pictures of the beach from vacation?  Well, guess what.....

these aren't from the beach either.

We went to visit these scaly guys.  We met them a few years ago when we were in Sarasota.
The kids thought they were really neat....
They were neat too when you consider they were one of the water hazards on the
putt putt golf course we played in Sarasota.  Watch your fingers if your ball goes in the water!! (joking)

This is a really fun course to play......that is, if you KNOW how to play golf.  We finally split up and David took the two big kids ahead because the little ones were just going crazy.  They were using their putters like baseball bats and shovels trying to get their balls in the cups.  They were having a blast, but the big kids didn't find their antics very amusing.

That's why I have so few pictures of J and E golfing.  They stayed a couple holes ahead of us most of the time.

Like I said, it's a really fun course with lots of obstacles to crawl under, climb over or walk through.

There are zig zags and mazes

mountains and smiling faces.

It came complete with waterfalls you could golf behind and before

and kids I adore.

We had a great time.  I'm not really sure who won, but I would guess David did.

One of these days I'll get caught up completely and maybe even post those beach pictures.  I keep hoping.
