Grantisms - Take Two

All of the pictures on this post are pictures from 35mm film that were recently converted to digital......
they really have no significance to the post itself.

Grant:  (tonight while feeding his fish and watching it swim crazily around in the tank)....."is my fish trying to get back to the pet store??

Mom: (answer said in head, not outloud)....."I don't know about the fish, but I sure would be if I were in that tank and you kept trying to catch me with your bare hands!"

Grant: (in the tub tonight pouring water into his left ear)....."Hey Mom, which ear is the water coming out?"

Mom: (answer said in head, again, not out loud)......"Ya, know Grant, sometimes I'm not certain I know the answer to which ear the water would come out!!  You leave me doubting sometimes."

Grant: (carrying around a Halloween bucket full of Easter eggs...yes, I said Easter eggs)......."pick them up very carefully.  Like this (demonstrating for me the correct form to use when holding an egg)!"

Mom:  (out loud this time) "Why are you being so careful?  They're only plastic Easter eggs."

Grant:  "No they're not! (very indignantly)  They're horse eggs!"

Mom: You mean they have a horse in them?

Grant: Yes, it's little, but it will hatch in a hundred days (his favorite number right now).  Then the little horse will come out.

Argentinosaurus.......Ornithomimus................Seismosaurus.................Sinosauropteryx...............Microraptor Zhaoianus.........................Utahraptor....................

Grant's favorite words lately........from a book we got at the library..............about dinosaurs............he's got the book memorized.............it's called "Dino Pets" by Lynn Plourde.................if you're looking for birthday/Christmas ideas, this book would rocket you to the top of his most favorite relative list very quickly.........he is IN LOVE with it

Speaking of horse eggs (see above).......I don't have a picture of it tonight, but he has one heck of a goose egg on his head.  He wiped out on his bike tonight.  I didn't see it.  The neighbor got to him before I did and came carrying him to me.  Bloodied his eyebrow of all things.  I hope it doesn't scar where he'll have no hair there.  That wouldn't make momma very happy.

No reason for the various pictures here....

Like I said, I just converted all our 35mm films to digital and I've had fun looking through them.  Just thought I'd share a few of the better ones.
